Keep pets cool.
As the weather gets warmer you will need to keep them cool as much and as often as you can. There is a number of ways to keep them cool by placing a paddling pool in a shaded area so that they can come and go as they wish. Leaving a fan on at their level so they can sit or lie down Infront of it and keep cool. Pet cool mats, collars and jackets are readily available and range from £5 to £20. Fresh cool water is a must as it keeps them hydrated and regulates their body temperature. SIGNS OF HEAT STROKE:- heavy breathing/ panting. Confused. Sickness. Diarrhea. Shaking/weakness. Loss of co-ordination. Seizures. Drooling. Foaming at the mouth. Lethargy.
