🐾Lake Windermere: Lake Windermere offers lake cruises. I will cover these in my next post.
🐾Aira Force: This is a gorgeous waterfall within in Lake District. It is a dramatic 65-foot waterfall and woodland trails. It is a loop path so unless you have the same braincells as me there is little chance of getting lost. There is free parking for all National Trust members; otherwise it's £5 for 2hours, £7 for 4hours and £8.50 for all day.
🐾Ride the Ravenglass & Eskdale railway.
This is a 7 mile line that runs from Ravenglass to Dalegarth Station. Ravenglass station has a museum, children's play area, cafe, toilet facilities, gift shop and an interactive veiwing station.
Prices: Return adult £20, Children 3- 17yrs £14, children under 3 go free. Joan observation carriage: Pullman- Adult £30, children £24. 1st class Adult £28, children £28. 4 Adult £70, Family 2 Adult and 2 children £41. One-way Adult £14 Children 3-17 yes £10 under 3 go free. Pullman Adult £15, 4 Adult £49. Family 2 adult and 2 children £43, 1 Adult and 2 children £29.
🐾 Lakeside & Haverthaite Railway. Was established in 1973,The Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway is a family run business in the heart of the Lake District.
Return Adult £10, children £6. Single Adult £10, children £4. Family return 2 adult & 3 children £30. Dogs ride free but their not allowed on seats.
When you are there are is also a number of activities to do at the other end. These are aquarium Adults £16, Children £10.40 families 2 Adults + 3 Children £49.

🐾Brougham Castle: It is in a picturesque setting beside the crossing of the River Eamont in Cumbria, Brougham Castle was founded in the early 13th century. The castle is open between 10am - 5pm. Admission Adult £7.50, Children 5 to 17yrs £4 OAPs £6.50. Families 2 Adult and 3 Children £19. 1 Adult and 3 Children £11.50.
🐾 Pencil museum: The museum opened in 1981 and is home to one of the biggest colouring pencils in the world. Opening times summer 1st April - 30 Oct 9:30am - 5pm seven days a week. Winter 31 Oct - 31 March Wednesday - Sunday 9:30am - 5pm. Admission Adult £6.25. Children £4.85. OAPs £5.45. Families 2 Adult and 1 Child £15.50, 2 Adult and 2 Children £19.50, 2 Adult and 3 Children £23.50.
🐾 Explore Derwentwater It is the third largest lake by area, after Windermere and Ullswater.There are numerous islands in Derwentwater, the largest being Derwent Island, Lord's Island, St Herbert's Island, Rampsholme Island, Park Neb, Otter Island, and Otterbield Island. parking for national trust members is free. Otherwise 2 hours £5. 4 hours £7. All day £8.50.
🐾Scarfell Pike is a hill that welcome well behaved dogs. Parking is £8 per car.
